Under 24.5 in the second half of LSU vs. Oregon at +105 for $50 to win $52.50. LSU defense is starting to wear down but had halftime to recover plus LSU gets the ball first. LSU offense is struggling to move the ball and should continue to try pounding away. All three touchdowns scored in this game have come off of mistakes, whether turnovers are dumb penalties on third downs. I was pretty close to taking Oregon -4 at +105 in the second half but felt better with the under. Let’s see  if I made the right call!

UPDATE (9/3/2011 11:26 PM) – Not much offense in the second half as expected but a bunch of points scored. After the first 8 minutes of the second half went by scoreless, two fumbles by Oregon true Freshman De’Anthony Thomas, both on their own side of the field, led to touchdowns for LSU. A bone-headed call by Chip Kelly to go for a 4th and 6 down 13 with 7 minutes to go on Oregon’s side of the field was icing on the cake. It’s tough to plan for fumbles and absurd coaching decisions when you gamble. Score this one a loss. I’m now at 2-1, wiped out my early win to go back to up $100.
